Gay Beauregard attended her 1st New Thought church as a 21 year old at the prompting of her new mother-in-law, Rev. Pauline Beauregard. It was Rev. Robert Steven's Unity church in San Diego and from the first time, she finally knew "this was home".
	Having attended various Unity churches and then United Religious Science churches, she came to the Alpine church in 1995 to lead the Children's Program. All the while she had continued to take classes just to fulfill her thirst for spiritual truth.For 5 years, then Practitioner Gay, continued with children's church, platform leader and served as an interim minister at one point. Step by step, class by class, she found herself in 2000 as part of the Emerson studies Ministerial class taught by Rev. Dr. Marilyn Hall at San Diego's Center for Creative Living. Upon graduation in July of 2002, she stepped into the role of minister of the Alpine church in September of that year. Rev. Gay is still sometimes amazed at the workings of Spirit and the roads and routes one takes on our spiritual journeys!
