Sat., Jul. 10th:
Descanso Parade & Fair this Sat.!!!
ACSL is hosting a booth featuring a Bake Sale & "Charming Tails" Sales. Volunteers please talk to Ann Hill (445-4235).
If you are providing baked goods, fruits or veggies please deliver to Ann in Alpine on FRIDAY before 11 a.m. or after 5 p.m., or to the Descanso Town Hall on Sat. before the roads close at 8 a.m.
The Fair is open 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Parade begins at 10 a.m.
There will be Games for kids, vendor booths, raffles, horseshoe contest, BBQ lunch, music by KSON Hill Country Band, and more!!!

In this beautiful weekend you will learn, experience and open through the Process of Awakening to Oneness. This includes:
BODY (Movement and Awareness) - MIND (Understanding and Observing) - KUNDALINI (Meditation and Deeksha)HEART (Divine Devotion, Dance and Worship) - LIFE and RELATIONSHIPS (Healing the Past)
Establish an initmate, personal relationship with the Divine.
At the end of the course you will be initiated as a Oneness Blessing (Deeksha) Giver

Sun., Aug. 8th: Alpine Community Center's Free Concert in the Park

Music starts at 6:00 p.m.
The Band is "The Legends", same one we so enjoyed the last 2 years - great dancing music!
Bring your own chair and refreshments.
Sat., Aug. 28th: Potluck/Picnic at Camp Oliver in Descanso
Noon - 3:00 p.m.
Hot Dogs & Fix'ins will be provided. Please bring a potluck drink, side dish or desert.
Directions from Alpine: Head East on Rt. 8. Exit #40 (the Descanso, Julian, Cuyamaca exit.) Left at the exit's stop sign. Left on Riverside Drive (just past the Descanso Junction Restaurant and Trading Post.) Camp Oliver is bit down the road on the right (past Seevers Pumps and before the bridge.)
Sat., Sept. 4th: Padre Game at PETCO Park
$29 tickets include all you can eat (hot dogs, popcorn, peanuts, soda and water) and a metal water bottle!!!
Game starts at 5:35 p.m.
